Te Tuhi visit

On Tuesday we went to Te Tuhi Art Gallery in Pakuranga.  We have been learning about Pasifika art.  At Te Tuhi we learned how we can use symbols in our artworks to show what is special to us and about us.

Many thanks to Charlotte and team at Te Tuhi, and to our awesome parents who helped out so much on the trip.

The Royal Dinner

Milton used Puppet Pals today to retell part of our shared book 'The Royal Dinner'.  We think he did a great job - and then he went and helped other students use Puppet Pals too.

Deenah is learning about teen numbers.  She has recorded her learning with the Seesaw app.

Skip Counting

Ajay had a goal to skip count to 30 in 2s - look what he can do:

Using Kahoot! in maths

We were using Kahoot at maths time.  We were practising our adding to 10.  It was helping us to know the answers quickly.

Vegas thought Kahoot was awesome.

Deenah had fun.

Painting...

Today we were learning how to use a paintbrush.  We only need a little bit of paint on the bristles.  Ajay and Jason made all sorts of lines and shapes with their paint. Next week we'll be using more than one colour! 😀

Numbers

Aaliyah and Tarzeray can already write the numbers to 10, now they are learning to write numbers to 20.
